Mayor of Linyi City Mr. Zhang Shuping visited India, Pakistan and Qatar along with his team in first week of May Month to discuss about Joint Projects in the Field of Trade and Construction.
From 1st to 3rd May, Mr. Zhang Shuping with his Team visited to India for Promotion of Linyi Trade. On 1st May, Linyi Government along with Infotop organised conference on Promotion of Linyi Trade, which is attended by Development Commission of Delhi, Economic and Cultural Association of India, BRICS and more than 30 Indian companies from different fields participated. Linyi City Mayor Mr. Zhang Shuping introduced Mall of Linyi Trade and after presentation, two memorandum has signed. First Agreement signed for Trade between Economic Administration of Linyi City and Cultural and Economic Association of India, and Second Agreement signed for Technology between Linyi Top Network Co., Ltd. and India SRM Group for establishment of International Education Cloud Service.
After Delhi, Chinese Delegates traveled to Chennai, where they visited Chennai Exhibition & Conference Center and DLF Software Park, and met with Director of SRM University, Mr. Subramanian and President of the Tamil chamber of Commerce.
During his Trip in India, Mr. Zhang also paid a courtesy call on the Adviser to the Minister of China Mr. Chang, Councilor for Economic development, Mr. Lee and Adviser on Science and Technology, Mr. Wen and visited the wholesale market of new Delhi.
From 4 to 7 may, Delegation held in Pakistan .
On May 7, Mr. Zhang successfully held the Ceremony of laying the foundation of Linyi Trade Shopping Center Mall in Gwadar City. Ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Gwadar City Mr. Bab Gulabo, Big business representatives and all members of the delegation of Linyi city. Mr. Zhang delivered speech and said that the Construction of New Linyi Shopping Center Mall will serve as a starting point in cooperation between Cities. Mr. Zhang and Mr. Gulabo signed an agreement between Linyi and Gwadar in respect of Trade. Chinese Delegates also visited the port of Gwadar and met Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed Sidiqui, Executive Vice-Governor Sindh and Mayor of Karachi and Chairman of Investment Committee of Sindh. During the visit to Pakistan, Mr. Zhang also met with the Consulate General of China in Karachi and exchanged their views on promotion of cooperation between Linyi and Pakistan in the field of investment and trade.
From 8 may to 10 may, Delegation held in Doha, Qatar.
Mr. Zhang met Mr. Sheikh Abdullah-Al-Thani, Chairman of the SAC Group and a member of the Royal family of Qatar and held meeting on cooperation between Linyi Trade and SAC Group, and also witnessed the signing of Tripartite framework Agreement on trade and economic cooperation between the SAC Group, Linyi Trade and Shandong Zhongzheng Investment & Development Co., Ltd.. Mr. Zhang also met with Mr. Li, Ambassador of China in Qatar to promote cooperation between the city of Linyi and Qatar.
Official Trip has strengthened links between the Linyi city with India, Pakistan and Qatar, and contributed to the promotion of cooperation in the field of investment, trade and business logistics.
